Gareth Trott
Gareth went on to further study at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, learning under the world class virtuoso euphonium player David Childs, where he achieved a BMus degree in performance. Once graduating Gareth enjoyed a short period of peripatetic music teaching before he enrolled into the Army and was appointed as Principal Euphonium of the Band of the Irish Guards. Within his military career he has performed at internationally acclaimed and historic events all over the world such as the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Megan Markle, the first presidential visit of Donald Trump, and international military tattoos in Australia, Scotland, Denmark to name a few. In 2019 Gareth became the Euphonium Tutor at the London College of Music.
