Jim Hayes

Jimmy has held the principal cornet position with the Cooperation Band, formally known as the Scottish Co-op Band, for a period of eight years. He also played principal cornet for five years with the band previous to this when is was known as the Scottish Co-op Band.
He is a fantastic ambassador for Geneva and is well known for his beautiful cornet sound. Jimmy released his first solo CD with The Cooperation Band called “Dial M For Midnight” back in 2011. The CD includes great arrangements of tracks such as Cry Me A River and the Harry James Trumpet Concerto. Recently in 2019 Jimmy recorded his fourth solo CD with the Co-operative Band along the same theme and is entitled “The Edge of Forever” this will be released in 2020 and Jimmy maintains this is his best solo album to date.
