Nayan Shah

Nayan Shah, a 12 year old from North West London, is a Grade 8 distinction trumpeter and flautist. He is privileged to continue his studies with Andy Mitchell at Junior Guildhall having discovered his passion for the trumpet at age 6 under the tutelage of Joe Atkins.

Principal Cornet for the National Children’s Brass Band and a Leverhulme Scholar for the National Children’s Orchestra, he has performed at the CBBC Proms, Blue Peter, Britain’s Got Talent, London Palladium and Royal Festival Hall with the Chineke! Junior Orchestra. He is an ambassador for Together with Music, an intergenerational campaign connecting care homes with young musicians.
