We are honoured to present the Cardinal Heritage Cornet, a signature model developed in collaboration with the legendary Phillip McCann—one of the most respected figures in the brass band world.

Born in Bo’ness, Scotland, Phillip’s career began with the Kinneil Colliery Band and flourished through leadership roles, including five years as leader of the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain. As Principal Cornet of the world-renowned Black Dyke Band during its golden era, Phillip helped shape an iconic sound that is still revered today.

His acclaimed Chandos CD series, The World’s Most Beautiful Melodies, is celebrated for its sublime tone and musicality, regularly featured on BBC Radio and Classic FM. His passion for expressive performance now lives on in this special edition instrument.
