Player Maintenance

Pre-Playing Preparation

Check all valves/slides move freely
Apply valve oil as required and ensure tuning slides are correctly seated
Empty any excess moisture before playing
Inspect mouthpiece fit and case contents

Post-Playing Maintenance

Empty water keys and remove moisture from the instrument
Wipe exterior lacquered surfaces with a soft cloth
Remove mouthpiece and clean with warm water when required
Store securely in the supplied case

Monthly Geneva Cleaning Regime

Clean mouthpiece thoroughly using a mouthpiece brush
